I’m obsessed with fitness now, but like most people, it wasn’t always that way. Basketball was my life from a young age through college, but my amazing height of 5’7” and less-than-athletic build limited my full potential.
I started working out at 19, and that was my first experience realizing how much more potential I had. I became stronger, faster, and capable of doing so much more on the court.
Unfortunately, some serious knee injuries took me out of the game, and I became inconsistent with training. In 2017, I finally took control of my body, and in 2018, I started personal training.
I love helping others, especially through fitness. There’s no better feeling than watching someone achieve new things or realize they’re capable of more than they ever thought.
In 2022, CrossFit opened another door for me, and since then, I’ve been all in. I love being a well-rounded athlete who can jump into any sport.
I still deal with the effects of past injuries, but I always find a way to scale, adapt, and continue getting fitter and stronger. I truly believe CrossFit can be a powerful tool in improving overall health and preventing many lifestyle-related illnesses, while also building a wide range of skills.
I love being a coach and plan to continue coaching for the rest of my life. I hope to make a lasting impact on people’s lives and help them realize their full potential.
